(01) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title:   Postdoctoral researcher on collective agency for inclusive energy transitions in neighbourhoods (0.8 FTE)

Vulnerable neighbourhoods provide strategic spatial and institutional challenges for urban energy transitions, especially in developing collective agency and achieving just transitions. In a new research project called “Collective agency and co-evolution toward inclusive energy transitions” (CO2PED), we build concrete tools to strengthen the urban transformative capacity of stakeholders toward developing positive-energy districts. CO2PED engages with neighbourhoods in Belgium, Estonia, the Netherlands, and Portugal. We aim to empower residents and neighbourhood associations as active agents in sustainable neighbourhood redevelopment while at the same time strengthening the capacity of municipalities and other public and private stakeholders to imagine and facilitate more inclusive energy transition strategies.

(02) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc summary/title: Postdoc in Arithmetic Geometry (1.0 FTE)

We offer a postdoc position in arithmetic geometry at Utrecht University. As a postdoc you will contribute to the research project p-structures on moduli spaces of abelian varieties and Drinfeld modules, funded by an NWO Vidi grant. This project focusses on arithmetic properties of (supersingular) abelian varieties and Drinfeld modules over finite fields and their moduli spaces. In addition, you will have ample freedom to carry out your own research line. You will be part of the research team of Dr. Valentijn Karemaker  external link and work under her mentorship.

(03) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc Pesticide Research and Human Health (0.8 – 1.0 FTE)

Are you a dedicated researcher, passionate about environmental health? The Institute for Risk Assessment Sciences 
external link  (IRAS) at Utrecht University is seeking a postdoc to lead cutting-edge research in assessing human exposure to pesticides and their associated health impacts. The position will be part of a large national program and consists of several sub-projects. Work with us on impactful projects, exploring diverse health outcomes like Parkinson’s disease, cancer, asthma, and cognitive development in children. You’ll work within the dynamic One Health Chemical (OHC) group of the Institute for Risk Assessment Sciences, engaging in interdisciplinary research to uncover environmental health determinants.
