The post holder will perform original laboratory-based research under the academic supervision of Dr Rebecca Hall at the University of Kent working to address how adaptation to natural and host environments drives Mucorales pathogenicity using our cutting-edge experimental workflows and unrivalled access to clinical and environmental isolates. This role involves formulating and proposing individual and collaborative research objectives, conducting research projects, and disseminating findings including publishing in reputable journals. This is a collaborative project with Dr Margherita Bertuzzi at the University of Manchester.

Summary/title: Postdoctoral Research Associate
Are you passionate about early medieval Britain? Do you have advanced knowledge of Old English and proficiency in Medieval Latin? If yes, then you may be interested in this fixed term full time postdoctoral Research Associate role.
The School of Humanities is seeking to appoint a postdoctoral Research Associate for 32-months to undertake close analysis of Old English letter-writing in early medieval Britain. The position will entail analysis of vernacular materials alongside the Latin epistolary corpus, data collection and dissemination of findings as part of a multi-person team, led by Dr Robert Gallagher (University of Kent) and Professor Francesca Tinti (University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU).

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate (Postdoctoral Researcher) to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team at the University of Kent. The successful candidate will contribute to a BBSRC-funded project aimed at illuminating the molecular mechanisms of bacterial lipid transport, processes that represent promising targets for novel antimicrobials.
