Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc – Soil Scientist
Postdoc will be responsible for coordinating and synthesizing information for a project supporting the implementation of soil carbon monitoring. The goal of this project is to raise awareness and increase usage of the USDA’s CEMA 221 protocol in the Central region. Accomplishing this will require generating educational materials and working with local partners to maximize impact, especially in reaching underserved communities. The postdoc will develop partnerships with existing soil carbon monitoring networks and with soil sampling education programs operating in the Central Region. In addition, they will spearhead the marketing campaign along with promoting and planning the training sessions in multiple states.

(03) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Research Associate
The hired individual will tasked with leading and contributing to research projects towards the following capacities: Creating software tools to store, manage, interpret, and analyze microbial genomic and metagenomic data. Create new or utilize available algorisms and analysis pipelines for the real-time identification and characterization of infectious pathogens in clinical diagnostic samples. Analyze large data bases, like NCBI, to curate and extract sequences to research questions.

(04) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc Research Associate
A post-doctoral research associate is expected to conduct research on microwave and millimeter-wave nondestructive testing at the center of nondestructive evaluation (CNDE) at ISU. The candidate is expected to conduct independent research in the field and assist other investigators with preparing archival journal papers for publication, conference presentations, and project report preparation. The candidate is also expected to work with and lead graduate and undergraduate students on various sponsored research projects. In addition, the candidate is expected to assist in sponsored research proposal preparation and submission.
