(01) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title:  Postdoctoraal onderzoeker Suïcidepreventie voor transgender jongeren (0,6 fte) (V23.0794)

We zoeken een postdoctoraal onderzoeker met interesse voor de mentale gezondheid en suïcide preventie onder transgender en genderdiverse jongeren (16-28 jaar), in het kader van een cognitieve gedragsbehandeling in de geestelijke gezondheidzorg. Het onderzoeksproject wordt uitgevoerd in samenwerking van Stichting 113 Zelfmoordpreventie, het Centrum voor Genderdysforie (UMC), en Transvisie. Het project wordt gesponsord door ZonMW. De onderzoeker zal zich bezighouden met het opzetten en uitvoeren van een gerandomiseerde controle studie onder transgender en genderdiverse jongeren die last hebben suïcidegedachten. Hiertoe dient een webomgeving voor de behandeling te worden ingericht, psychologen te worden getraind door een trainer, en deelnemers te worden geworven. De effecten van deze interventie zullen worden gemeten aan de hand van vragenlijsten die zullen worden uitgezet en verzameld.

(02) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc summary/title: Postdoctoral position Chemo/thermocatalytic polyvinylchloride recycling (1.0 FTE) (V23.0776)

In the framework of a collaboration with Blue Cycle (PTO Heerenveen BV) and CoRe Pro BV there is an open position for a postdoctoral researcher on finding solutions for the co-processing of polyvinylchloride (PVC) containing streams during chemical recycling of plastic wastes by pyrolysis. The project runs for 1 year and has the objective to develop a pretreatment process for PVC containing streams to allow them to be co-fed into the current Blue Cycle pyrolysis process.
In the group of Prof. P.J. Deuss the postdoc will look at (partial) catalytic dechlorination of model and realistic PVC streams. This includes testing of different catalysts and setups for dechlorination as well as development constructing and commissioning of a small lab-scale PVC adjusted pretreatment-pyrolysis setup in collaboration with CoRe Pro. The work includes chemical analyses of products, catalyst development and process optimization.

(04) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Post-doc in Flexible electronics and MEMS (V23.0757)

The postdoctoral candidate will conduct research in the field of flexible &wearable electronic devices, 3D printed MEMS sensors, and applications of MEMS flow sensors. The candidate is expected to conduct research related to flexible sensors, flexible soft polymer MEMS and real-life applications of MEMS. It includes the embedding of such systems in a MEMS device, thus taking a electromechanical design and testing perspective, and deals with research activities on 3D printed MEMS, inkjet printed electronics and flexible electronics.
