(01) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in machine learning for image generation
The research area for the advertised position lies in the intersection of machine learning, deep learning, computer graphics and computer vision. The goal is to create synthetic image data with combinations of computer graphics and generative deep learning. The generated images will be used as training data in machine learning applications, for improving performance and robustness, or as a tool for anonymizing sensitive images. The developed methods will be tested in various applications, e.g. for medical imaging diagnostics. The project includes both basic research on the development of new image generation methods, as well as applied research to show the benefits of the new methods.

(02) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctor with focus on immunological mechanisms in inflammatory kidney diseases
As a postdoctor, you will principally carry out research. In this position, the research is primarily focused on inflammatory kidney diseases and mechanisms related to their pathogenesis. A certain amount of teaching may be part of your duties, up to a maximum of 20% of working hours. You will be measuring various analytes in peripheral blood, such as cytokines and DNA, as well as isolate and culture cells of the immune system in vitro. You will analyze and present results from the experiments, which includes handling of clinical data, and writing manuscripts.

(03) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in machine learning for structural bioinformatics
We are looking for a motivated, independent postdoc researcher in AI and machine learning and/or structural biology eager to learn new methodologies. Central to the project is the development of methods that incorporate experimental data or prior information into the AI methods to improve predictions and modeling capabilities.

(04) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in the field of Philosophy
We are looking for candidates specializing in epistemology and/or philosophy of mathematics. The candidate will work in collaboration with Dr. Silvia De Toffoli on her project entitled “Humanizing Mathematical Knowledge: Fallibility, Technology, and Know How” funded by a Wallenberg Academy Fellowship and based at Linköping University. The candidate should strengthen the epistemological components of the project. As a postdoc, you will principally carry out research. However, you will also be expected to help with the organization of seminars and other scientific events as well as with grant writing. You will be formally based at the Department of Culture and Society (IKOS). A certain amount of teaching may be part of your duties, up to a maximum of 20% of working hours. You will be expected to carry out most of your research in Linköping. This includes regular participation in the research group’s activities and programs (seminars, workshops, conferences, etc.).

(05) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in Disability Research
The post doc will work in two different projects. In the first project, we investigate how hearing loss influences memory systems and networks in the brain by mapping of longitudinal functional neural changes associated with hearing loss. In the second project, consistency in functional connectivity from resting state data in deaf signing individuals will be investigated across different datasets. The post doc has some degrees of freedom to define the exact research questions in the two projects.
