The University of Maryland (UMD), College Park, welcomes applications for a fully funded postdoctoral position working alongside a multidisciplinary team of researchers and practitioners with the Prevent Gun Violence: Research, Empowerment, Strategies and Solutions (PROGRESS) initiative. The mission of PROGRESS—a UMD Fearlessly Forward Initiative sponsored by the Office of the President and housed within the College of Behavior and Social Sciences (BSOS)—is to reduce firearm-related violence using a multi-disciplinary, community-based, and translational science approach to promote public safety and enhance the quality of life for Marylanders and people across the nation.
