he University of Stavanger invites applicants for three PhD Fellowships in quality and safety in healthcare services, at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Quality and Health Technology. The positions are vacant from 01.03.2024.

The positions are associated with SHARE – Center for Resilience in Healthcare, and the research project Support4Resilience (S4R): Strengthening resilience and mental wellbeing through the Support4Resilience toolbox for leaders in elderly care.

The research center SHARE was established in 2017 and is one of eight research centers at UiS. SHARE is based on long-term research into quality and safety in the healthcare service and is a strategically prioritized research area at the Faculty of Health Sciences. Collaborative partners in SHARE are the University of Stavanger, NTNU Gjøvik, and Oslo University Hospital. SHARE has an interdisciplinary profile with more than 70 researchers affiliated with the center.

The University of Stavanger  is a university located in Stavanger, Norway. UiS was established in 2005 when the former Høgskolen i Stavanger  received university status. It had about 11,000 students and 1,370 administrative, faculty and service staff in 2017.

It is organised in six faculties: Educational Sciences and Humanities, Social Sciences, Science and Technology, Performing Arts, Health Sciences and the Norwegian School of Management at UiS.
