Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Researcher on Conspiratorial Memory: Digital Dimensions
This postdoc position is embedded in the ERC-funded research project Conspiratorial Memory: Cultures of Suspicion in Post-Socialist Europe. The aims of the project are 1) to determine to what extent Eastern European conspiracy cultures derive their interpretive logic and emotive force from (conflicting) narratives about the socialist past; and 2) to reveal the modes and media by which memory-based imaginations of conspiracy circulate within and across national borders. Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Researcher on AI and Humanities
You will conduct research on Responsible AI within the broader approach of the Humane AI Research Priority Area. The research will be embedded in the University of Amsterdam and is co-funded by the faculty of humanities. This postdoc will be positioned within the faculty of humanities. The ideal candidate is active in any relevant area within the humanities that can complement our current strengths within AI & Law and AI & Communication Science. As such preference will be given to researchers active in AI & Arts, AI & Philosophy/Logic/Ethics, or AI & Language. Your work provides evidence of conceptual clarity in your approach and of your familiarity with formal modelling tools. The ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary cross-faculty team will be essential.

(05) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Position in Experimental Particle Physics (ATLAS)
We are looking for an enthusiastic Postdoc who will will search for new physics beyond the Standard Model, by investigating the electroweak symmetry breaking mechanism through a precise characterization of properties of diboson interactions. The focus will be on the high-energy tails of the distributions, which are more sensitive to effects from new physics. You will study the reconstruction and identification of angular properties of decays from very energetic weak bosons using machine learning techniques. You are also going to contribute to detector construction and/or operations.
