A post-doctoral position is open in the Dr. Dalibor Blažek. Our research team is dedicated to understanding the roles of CDK12, CDK11, and other transcriptional kinases in the regulation of gene expression and their targeting in human diseases, particularly cancer. Our laboratory at CEITEC is international and has numerous collaborations including top bioinformaticians, medicinal chemists, and an innovative biotech company. The post-holder will integrate biochemistry and molecular biochemistry approaches, particularly genomics and proteomics together with bioinformatics analyses to address basic biological questions. We are particularly interested in an individual with strong expertise in molecular biology and biochemistry and expertise/interest in genome-wide bioinformatics analyses.

Key Duties: The candidate will conduct research in the area of ordinary differential and/or difference equations with the emphasis on the oscillation and spectral theory, including the theory of dynamic equations on time scales, within the project Oscillation theory on hybrid time domains with applications in specral and matrix analysis, principal investigator Roman Simon Hilscher.  

Postdoctoral position is available in laboratory of Pavel Krejci, to study various aspects of Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF) signaling in disease. Current focus is on non-canonical FGF signaling pathways, differential signaling of FGF-receptors, and development of treatment for skeletal dysplasias caused by aberrant FGFR signaling. While our primary interest is the FGF pathway, projects on the entire RTK family are also running in the lab.

The Sumbalova Koledova Lab at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic, is looking for a passionate, intellectually curious postdoctoral scientist with an interest in developmental and cancer biology. Potential projects focus on the role of fibroblasts in mammary gland development and breast cancer. The experimental approaches of our interdisciplinary team include mouse models, organoids, biosensors, state-of-the-art imaging techniques, single-cell RNA sequencing, and mathematical modelling. We are closely affiliated with the Central European Institute of Technology, which offers excellent facilities, opportunities for training and cross-disciplinary collaborations. We have active international collaborations with top experts in their field at several excellent international institutions.

Conduct archive research (European and beyond) and digital ethnography on interconnections and cultural imagination of HRI and autismConduct and transcribe interviews, discuss your findings within our team and analyse data, write papers for peer-reviewed journals, disseminate the results to the general public, present your research at international conferences
