(01) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title:  Postdoctoral Fellow Potential Field Geophysics Carbon Mineralization

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to fill a 1-year postdoctoral fellow position to assist with processing and interpretation of airborne geophysical surveys and integration with core and downhole petrophysical logs as a part of a large project on subsurface mafic and ultramafic rock mapping and analysis for carbon mineralization in the United States. The aim of the project is to map the subsurface geometry and estimate the volume of mafic/ultramafic rocks in the subsurface of the USA where large amounts of CO2 could be stored through in-situ carbon mineralization. The postdoctoral fellow will be joining a highly diverse team of international researchers. The individual will be responsible for generation, coordination, and integration of the generated data into the overall mapping and modeling of mafic and ultramafic rocks in the subsurface. The position requires integration of multiple geophysical and geologic datasets and interpretations, and development of new concepts and methods for automated potential field data processing and uncertainty estimates.

Postdoc summary/title: Postdoctoral Fellow – Multiphase Compositional Flow Modeling in Nanoporous Media

The Mudrock System Research Laboratory (MSRL) is looking for a postdoctoral researcher with expertise in multiphase compositional modeling in nanoporous media, i.e., rocks associated with unconventional oil and gas reservoirs. Research goals include 1) understanding the fundamental processes of fluid phase behavior in the nanoporous systems, and 2) fluid flow in nanoporous systems and the impact of these processes on oil and gas production or gas injection (CO2 or natural gas) enhanced oil recovery (EOR) in unconventional reservoirs. We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated experience modeling experimental data from nanoporous rock systems.

The Texas Child Study Center, a collaboration of Dell Children’s Medical Center and the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School is offering three full-time Pediatric Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship positions for the 2022-2023 training year. Applicants may apply to one of our three primary training concentrations. Clinical training activities will take place within hospital, specialty care, and community-based primary care clinics provided by the Psychology Service at Dell Children’s Medical Center.  This program collaborates with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists from Dell Children’s Rehabilitative Services, in addition to the psychological services through the Texas Child Study Center.
