Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Law School
The Vanderbilt Policy Accelerator (VPA) seeks applications for a fellow in the field of networks, platforms, and utilities (NPUs). The Project on NPUs seeks to revitalize the study of the law and political economy of NPU industries; and facilitates research and education on NPU law and policy.
The two-year NPU fellowship is designed to support individuals who are interested in becoming law professors in the field of networks, platforms, and utilities, defined broadly as including transportation, communications, energy, banking, and tech platforms, and cross-cutting issues and themes across these sectors. The NPU fellow is expected to write academic articles for publication in legal journals, participate in the NPU workshop and annual NPU conference, and go on the academic job market in the second year of the fellowship. The NPU fellow will receive mentoring and guidance from Vanderbilt law faculty.

(02) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc summary/title: LGBTQ+ Policy Lab
The first position will be in LGBTQ+ economics, LGBTQ+ health, and LGBTQ+ policy to work primarily with Professor Kitt Carpenter (Economist) on a variety of projects related to same-sex marriage and LGBTQ+ health and economic outcomes.
The second position is open to a quantitative social scientist with interests in LGBTQ+ populations, health, and policies. Potential primary advisors include Gilbert Gonzales (Health Policy), Tara McKay (Sociology), Lawrence Stacey (Sociology), and Kirsty Clark (Psychiatric Epidemiology).

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Vanderbilt Kennedy Center
The fellowship is housed within TRIAD, the hub for campus-wide interdisciplinary work in autism research, service, outreach, and training. Fellowship activities include diagnostic evaluations of children with possible autism through research projects and our hospital-based developmental clinic, with the goal of obtaining ADOS-2 research reliability. Fellows will also be involved in telemedicine-based assessment and diagnosis. In collaboration with our TRIAD Professional Development, Training, and Outreach Team, fellows will participate in school-based consultation and support, as well as develop and deliver online and live training modules to caregivers, service providers, and school personnel. Fellows will serve as long-term trainees within our Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program. This includes participation in 300+ hours of activities that include online learning modules, leadership seminars, interprofessional group projects, and other requirements during the academic year.

(07) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Neurological Surgery
The Bick Neurophysiology laboratory in the Department of Neurosurgery at Vanderbilt University Medical center seeks applicants for a postdoctoral research position. The lab’s research program focuses on understanding the neural signaling behavioral and cognitive processes, with a long term goal of developing novel neuromodulation applications and approaches. We utilize intracranial recording and stimulation and neuro imaging approaches in human neurosurgery patients. Ongoing projects include understanding the neural basis of nonmotor symptoms in patients with Parkinson’s disease, limbic modulation of movement, and reward signaling and its alteration in neuropsychiatric disorders. Responsibilities will include processing and analysis of neurophysiology data, developing stimulation protocols, presenting at conferences, and publishing scientific manuscripts. The postdoc may also supervise undergraduate and other research students. The lab has multiple existing datasets ready to be analyzed, and as such there is the potential for significant academic productivity.

Candidates with expertise in the areas of van der Waals quantum materials, device fabrication, DC/HF transport, ultrafast spectroscopy, or cavity physics should apply! (09) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Mechanical Engineering
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and collaborative candidate with a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, bioengineering, or a related field. Previous experience in one or more of the following technical areas is required: human cell culture and characterization, three-dimensional cell culture, advanced microscopy, microfluidics and/or biomaterials. Must possess strong interpersonal and collaboration skills and the ability to contribute in a multidisciplinary team setting. Excellent oral and written communication skills required, as is the ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
