Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in Computational Population Genetics
In this position, you will develop algorithms and computational methods to deal with the analysis of large datasets from modern and ancient sources. More specifically, these algorithms will be aimed at analyzing a large number of ancient genomes using population genetics methods. Additional information should be obtained by contacting the potential main supervisor directly. The university is located in the greater Copenhagen area, which is acknowledged for its excellent standards of living, childcare and welfare system.

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc position within microbial foods to explore gastronomic and textural properties of filamentous fungi
A research opportunity funded by the Good Food Institute will now be available in the BSB section at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability under the supervision of Dr. Leonie Johanna Jahn and Prof. Morten Otto Alexander Sommer and at the two-Michelin star restaurant Alchemist. Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in Integrated Photonics for Quantum Feed-Forward
This postdoc project, which is tied to the Villum Foundation Young Investigator project on Silicon-Lithium Niobate Hybrid Integrated Quantum Photonics (QUANPIC), will investigate quantum feed-forward technology based on the low-loss lithium niobate on insulator (LNOI) platform. The target is to obtain near-deterministic single photon states from probabilistic nonlinear photon-pair sources, and further to generate larger entangled states from probabilistic entanglement generation circuits. High-speed and low-loss lithium niobate for switches is a powerful emerging technology, which will enable the high-efficiency multiplexing required for this technology.

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: in Multi-physics weld modelling of large-scale cast iron components
The postdoc project aims at advancing the state of the art in the area of multi-physics modelling of welding processes of large-scale cast iron components. The main objective of the project is to develop a thermo-mechanical model to predict residual stresses (RS) induced by different welding processes, and use the RS data and 3D X-ray tomography data of the weldment in a fatigue model to predict the lifetime of the large-scale cast iron weldments.
