A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey to conduct research on tumor immunology with a focus on the discovery and development of T cell therapy for cancer, including tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes and gene-engineered T cells. Postdoctoral Fellows are expected to establish an innovative, collaborative research program addressing important and fundamental questions. Active areas of research include T cell receptor discovery, membrane-tethered cytokine technologies, tumor resistance mutations, target antigen discovery, and preclinical development of new TCR-based treatments. Interdisciplinary and translational approaches are encouraged. Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Fellow
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow for the Center for Cell Signaling within the New Jersey Medical School. The primary purpose of the Postdoctoral Fellow position is to conduct independent laboratory research under the direction of the principal investigator. The current focus of the Hou lab is to understand the anti-KRAS therapy resistance mechanisms in pancreatic cancer and engineer tumor-associated cells to improve disease control. This position will use in vivo mouse models to dissect the role of tumor microenvironment in regulating tumor response to KRAS inhibitors and use the knowledge to develop novel cell therapies. The PI will fully support the postdoctoral appointee to apply fellowships, seed grants, travel awards and career development grants.
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Fellow – Oldenburg Laboratory
The postdoc will work with the PI to develop an independent project, that leverages the expertise of the lab and the skills and interests of the postdoc. In addition to multiphoton imaging and multiphoton optogenetics, projects may also involve animal training, electrical and optical engineering, electrophysiology, molecular biology, and/or computational analyses. The fellow will have the opportunity to guide the research of an undergraduate research assistant, if desired.
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Post Doctoral Associate

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Associate in Experimental Neutrino Physics
The experimental particle physics group at Rutgers University is seeking qualified applicants for a postdoctoral position in Neutrino Physics. Our group is active in an array of cutting-edge neutrino experiments, including Theia/Eos, the Fermilab Short Baseline Neutrino (SBN) Program, and DUNE. The successful candidate will initially take a leadership role in the development of the Eos water-based liquid scintillator detector, with subsequent opportunities to participate in analysis of data from the SBN Program including our ongoing efforts in neutrino-nucleus scattering. Co-mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students is also anticipated. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in experimental particle physics or a related field, and previous experience with detector instrumentation hardware or DAQ systems is preferred.

The Valvezan Lab works to define the complex interplay between the signaling pathways and metabolic networks that control cell growth and cancer, with emphasis on identifying and exploiting metabolic vulnerabilities to develop new therapeutic approaches. Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Fellow
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Associate III for the Department of Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Genetics within the New Jersey Medical School. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), the Postdoctoral Fellow will investigate the cell biology underlying interactions between macrophages and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The major focus will be understanding how post-translational modifications of host proteins impact the initiation, progression, and resolution of key innate immune pathways like cytosolic DNA sensing and selective autophagy. In addition, proteomics approaches and genetic screens will be employed to identify novel players in these pathways, including host proteins and bacterial factors. Validation of both previously identified and newly discovered factors will be performed using a combination of M. tuberculosis genetics (knockout and complemented strains, transposon screens, etc.), macrophage genetics (CRISPR knockout macrophages, epitope-tagged expression lines, mammalian CRISPR screens, etc.), biochemistry (immunoprecipitations, mass spectrometry, ubiquitination/phosphorylation assays, etc.), molecular biology (RT-qPCR, RNA-seq, etc.), cell biology (immunofluorescence, protein studies/western blots, etc.), and mouse infection models. The work from these studies will deepen our understanding of the molecular interface between the host macrophage and intracellular M. tuberculosis, promoting the development of more effective therapies to treat TB.
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Post-Doctoral Associate- Coastal Hazards
This one-year position (renewable upon successful performance for up to two years) is designed for an early career scholar with strong interests in household decision-making in the face of changing coastal hazards, especially in communities in New Jersey/New York/Pennsylvania that are currently and/or historically marginalized or face barriers to equitable participation in local to state decision-making power structures. Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Associate Positions in Research on Issues Related to Interpersonal Violence
Two postdoctoral scholars are currently sought to focus on 1) assessing campus climate related to interpersonal violence and 2) interpersonal victimization of Latinos. REV provides a unique, supportive, and rich educational environment for post-doctoral associates to continue their learning and to contribute to the Center’s work. The center has been recognized as a national leader in producing research to address and prevent interpersonal violence. Post-doctoral associates will have the opportunity be involved in all aspects of research conducted by REV faculty which includes collaborating with community partners, developing research methods, seeking funding opportunities, collecting and analyzing data, and disseminating the findings.
