Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc position in computational chemistry for organic solar cells
The Postdoc project is part of the Independent Research Fund Denmark Sapere Aude project “mayoPV Designing intrinsically stable organic semiconductor ”mayonnaise” blends for high-performing organic solar cells”, which will be done in close collaboration with Prof. Kurt V. Mikkelsen from the University of Copenhagen. The overall project involves collaboration with Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Glasgow, Karlstad University, University of Copenhagen, and Technical University of Denmark. The main goal of the postdoc work will be to apply computational chemistry methods and develop a machine learning model to investigate a large chemical space of synthetically accessible modifications of chosen model molecules and determine their interactions within the active layer blend with other organic molecules.

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in depression and network modelling
The postdoc position is for 2 years, with a possible 3rd year extension, starting on the 15th of March 2023 or soon thereafter. The focus of the position is on developing models that map how everyday psychological distress symptoms interact through time with a person’s activities, mental abilities and life events to lead to depression, in both people who have never been depressed before and those currently in recovery from depression. We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious candidate with an interest in the area of quantitative methods, clinical psychology, and network theory of psychopathology. The candidate should have experience with network modelling and programming. Experience with systematic reviews and meta-analysis is an asset, but not a prerequisite for the position.

The postdoc position(s) is a part of the Roll-to-Roll (R2R) activities within the new SDU CAPE research center, which aims to develop new sustainable photovoltaics and energy technologies using scalable and green processing techniques. This includes activities within scalable Sheet-to-Sheet (S2S) and Roll-to-Roll (R2R) coating processes for thin films using both solution as well as vacuum-based coating techniques, to push the limits of photovoltaics performance from industrial compatible techniques. Most of your working time is devoted to your own research studies. As a postdoctoral fellow, you are expected to develop your own research ideas and communicate scientific results in high-ranking journals.

Food loss and waste plays a significant role in sustainable development. The quantification and reduction of food loss and waste are crucial in a sustainable food system transition. This postdoc position is part of the Horizon Europe project WASTELESS which aims to develop a mix of innovative tools and methodologies for food loss and waste measurement, to recommend a harmonised methodological framework for food loss and waste quantification, and to develop decision support tool targeting all food value chain stakeholders. The position will be partly linked to the biowaste related tasks in another Horizon Europe project TREASOURCE as well (https://treasource.eu/; which aims to initiate systemic change by developing systemic circular economy solutions in cities and regions).
