Biomarker candiates of pig robustness and pig gut antimicrobial resistome have been discovered in other studies in the PIG-PARADIGM project. The aim of this Postdoc project is to refine the candiate set by identifying and validating consistent(i.e. reproducible) biomarkers for pig robustness and pig gut antimicrobial resistome.

We seek a scientist with strong background within eukaryote phylogeny and community analysis using high-throughput sequencing. Excellent oral and written English language skills are an advantage. Limited teaching within the area can be expected, but also in other study programmes at the University. Research areas will be within life cycle assessment and other sustainability assessments of building materials, buildings and the built environment. You will be part of a research team that works with the development of tools and methods for assessing the environmental sustainability within the built environment. The research group has a strong focus on life cycle assessments, circular economy and assessment of the sustainability of buildings. You will work on the following topics:

The Post Doc is linked to the quantitative measurement of the students’ competencies before and after the project. The task in its entirety consists of items for the test, implementation in the test program, and a pilot study involving implementation of the test in pre- and post-test in schools. The preliminary problem formulation reads:”How do we develop, implement and carry out a pilot test of an assessment tool for ESD competences in a Danish school context?”. The formulation of the problem will be adapted in consultation with the Post Doc.
