(02) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc summary/title: Postdoc in Communication Systems

Our research projects focus on distributed sensing, hardware-efficient signal processing, robustness and resilience, and communication-efficient decentralized machine learning. Applications are within 6G mobile access, distributed intelligence and computing, and drone swarms.

As postdoc, you will principally carry out research. A certain amount of teaching may be part of your duties, up to a maximum of 20% of working hours.

(03) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in Vehicular Systems, within SEDDIT competence center

You will work on fault diagnosis with a focus on mechanical anomalies through monitoring of dynamic behavior. The focus of the research is on fault diagnosis of mechanical failures (e.g. in automotive applications) using, for example, vibration and acoustic signals. Research questions include method development for fault detection and isolation, damage estimation systems, including sensor placement and predictive maintenance.

The postdoc position is part of SEDDIT which is a competence center at Linköping University involving multiple academic and industrial partners. An important responsibility of the postdoc within SEDDIT is to manage and identify research projects together with researchers and industrial partners within the competence center.

As postdoc, you will principally carry out research. A certain amount of teaching may be part of your duties, up to a maximum of 20% of working hours.

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in Computational Social Science

As a postdoctoral fellow, your main task will be to conduct cutting edge computational social science research. The research will be carried out within the context of the Swedish Excellence Center for Computational Social Science (SweCSS), which is a joint initiative between the Institute for Analytical Sociology (IAS) and the Department of Computer Science (IDA).

SweCSS researchers combine large-scale data, computational methods, and clearly articulated social-science theories to improve our understanding of society. Recent advances in machine learning, natural language processing, and agent-based modelling have paved the way for innovative collaborations between social scientists and computer scientists that jointly seek to answer fundamental questions of the social sciences and humanities in new and rigorous ways.

The Excellence Center aims to position Sweden at forefront of international research in CSS research and to be an educational canter and a central node for CSS-oriented research groups and institutes worldwide.
