(01) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Post Doc position in pathogenesis of sarcomas
This delay is largely attributable to the rarity and heterogeneity of sarcomas, as well as the limited knowledge of optimal growth conditions for these in vitro models. The goal of the postdoctoral project is to adopt a comparative, One Medicine approach involving both dogs and humans, and to develop and characterize new, fit-for-purpose, 3D in vitro models for studying sarcomas across species. The research will focus specifically on osteosarcoma in both canine and human patients.
The following methods will be (potentially) used:
- (micro)RNA analysis (qRT-PCR, (single cell) RNA sequencing)
- Protein analysis (Western blot, phospho-kinase arrays, flow cytometry,
- Mass spectrometry, immunofluorescence staining, Co-IP)
- Chromatin immunoprecipitation (followed by qPCR and sequencing)
- Epigenetic analysis (DNA methylation arrays, histone modification analysis)
- 2D / 3D culture and manipulation of human and animal (tumor) cell lines
- Tumor tissue analysis (ex vivo culture)

(02) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc summary/title: Postdoc on queer of colour movement intellectuals in the Netherlands and the UK
Within this framework, you will focus on how queer of colour writers, artists, filmmakers, and other cultural workers – as “organic intellectuals” – helped establish links between the Dutch and British contexts, thus contributing to the emergence of a queer of colour movement and culture across European borders. At the same time, you will research how the contributions of these intellectuals have been recorded in both personal and movement (queer, Black, and queer of colour) archives.
This Postdoc is part of the larger NWO Vidi project Fabulous Subjects: Queer Intellectuals and their Archives, whose twofold goal is to develop a theory of the queer organic intellectual while identifying the specific features of queer intellectuals’ archives. The project focuses on the place of intellectuals in European queer and trans communities and movements from the 1970s to the present.

(03) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc “Reclaiming EdTech Design” (NWO Vidi)
Building on these empirical insights, RECLaiM-EDU aims to advance a new conceptual understanding of digital autonomy as a distinctly European strategy for securing public value in education amid rapid digitalization and deepening technological dependencies. This theoretical and empirical work will feed into the co-creation of the Digital Autonomy Framework for European Public Education (DAF-EU): a strategic roadmap and call to action designed to stimulate bottom-up, public-interest innovation across Europe and to support schools in reclaiming agency over their digital classrooms.
As a Postdoctoral Researcher within the RECLaiM-EDU project, you will lead the project’s design pillar. Your research will investigate how practices of co-design, public governance, and public–private collaboration can contribute to more democratic forms of educational technology in European primary and secondary education. Therefore, you will conduct in-depth empirical research on pioneering initiatives across Europe that experiment with alternative approaches to the design and governance of digital education technologies.

(04) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc on Marine Pollution, Mixture Toxicology and One Health Modelling
Marine ecosystems harbor complex mixtures of contaminants, including emerging pollutants and experience shifts in microbial communities linked to specific contamination, such as plastics. HARMONY addresses this gap by developing integrated approaches to assess mixture toxicity, bioaccumulation, ecological risks, and possible associated effects on human health. WP4, led by IRAS (UU), investigates how pollutants and mixtures propagate from individual organisms through food webs to humans. The work strategically combines reuse of European monitoring datasets (e.g. WFD and EMODnet), laboratory experiments, field observations, advanced modelling approaches, and mechanistic analyses. The objective is to generate robust and time-efficient evidence on bioaccumulation, biomagnification, ecological impacts, seafood safety, and plastic-promoted antimicrobial resistance (AMR), applying a One Health perspective.

As a postdoc in this project, you will play a key role in designing and synthesizing molecular additives, electrochemical evaluation, and mechanistic studies to advance the fundamental understanding and industrial scalability of CO2-to-methane conversion.
