Eligible candidate may Apply as soon as possible.
(01) Postdoctoral Position
Postdoctoral position summary/title: RNA Biology & Cancer
We are looking for talented postdoctoral candidates to investigate how misregulation of alternative RNA splicing contributes to human disease, with a specific focus on cancer. The positions are fully funded through two NIH grants, and awaiting the proper, enthusiastic applicant.
Deadline of Postdoc Position: Open Until Filled
(02) Postdoctoral Position
Postdoctoral position summary/title: Associate Research Scientist.
The Kaczorowski Lab at The Jackson Laboratory is seeking an Associate Research Scientist to support our ongoing research program and to develop new research projects. Our group primarily focuses on mechanisms of learning and memory, as well as genetic diseases of aging (Alzheimer’s and related dementias). The successful candidate will continue and extend studies of the molecular signatures that underlie learning and memory, and disease-related pathological changes in translational models of Alzheimer’s disease.

(04) Postdoctoral Position
Postdoctoral position summary/title: The Ucar lab is seeking motivated computational scientists interested in studying how epigenomes of human immune cells change with age and diseases including COVID-19. We use diverse approaches in genomics, bioinformatics, systems biology and immunology to understand how epigenetic regulation of gene expression programs are disrupted by genetics and environment. We are seeking highly-motivated individuals who have prior experience with programming and genomic data analyses.

(05) Postdoctoral Position
Postdoctoral position summary/title: Computational Cancer Biology Postdoctoral Associate
Dr. Sheng Li’s lab at JAX-GM in Hartford, CT area is seeking a computational biology postdoctoral associate who is interested in studying cancer functional genomics. The Li Lab’s primary interests are computational biology and machine learning with a focus on functional genomics in normal and cancer systems.
Deadline of Postdoc Position: Open Until Filled
(06) Postdoctoral Position
Postdoctoral position summary/title: A postdoctoral training opportunity is available in the lab of Dr. Gareth Howell at The Jackson Laboratory (JAX) in Bar Harbor, Maine, to study the role of neuroinflammation and vascular health in glaucoma. Dr. Howell’s lab uses genetic and genomic approaches using mouse models to better understand the early stages of neurodegenerative diseases including glaucoma and dementias. A particular focus of this postdoctoral position will be on understanding the mechanisms by which glaucoma risk factors such as aging and intraocular pressure elevation affect the interactions between glial cells (such as astrocytes and microglia) with endothelial cells in the optic nerve head and retina.

(07) Postdoctoral Position
Postdoctoral position summary/title:
he Carter Lab has an opening for a postdoctoral associate in the computational biology of Alzheimer’s disease. This position is part of an NIH-funded TREAT-AD center, in which our lab plays a leading role in bioinformatics analysis.
The goal of the TREAT-AD consortium (www.treatad.org) is to translate molecular signatures of late-onset Alzheimer’s disease into new treatments. This process encompasses a range of computational and systems biology approaches, including big data analysis through dimensional reduction, inference of disease origin and progression, integration of multiple annotation and data streams to formulate testable hypotheses, and refinement of hypotheses upon collection of additional data. Our collaborative, multi-institutional group is embedded in a large community of researchers focused on data science and stewardship, structural biology, medicinal chemistry, and the neuroscience of disease. The TREAT-AD center is in turn a part of a major open science initiative to understand and treat Alzheimer’s disease that includes the AMP-AD, ADNI, ADSP, and MODEL-AD research consortia. The Carter Lab also has a leading role in MODEL-AD, in which we create new mouse models of late-onset AD for basic research and preclinical testing.
