Multiple transitions are needed to achieve a sustainable, safe, affordable, trustworthy and high-quality food system in the next decade or two that will fulfil the needs of a diverse and growing world population. We need to transit to more circular food systems, shift the diet towards more sustainable proteins, and use new (bio) technologies in food production. These changes will have an impact on the current food system and on food safety. Food safety challenges might occur at new places in the supply chain and new hazards are expected.

(10) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc with interest in Atomic Force Microscopy
We are looking for talented Post-Doctoral Researchers for a position in the area of nanoscale microscopy and spectroscopy for the development and application of Atomic Force Microscopy based techniques to unravel puzzling questions in biomolecular and soft matter sciences. The Ruggeri subgroup pushes the boundaries and capabilities of methods of analysis of modern physics and chemistry, such as scanning probe microscopy and spectroscopy, to unravel biomolecular processes in health and disease, as well as to characterise functional biomaterials. A deep knowledge of Scanning Probe Microscopy is required. Expertise in AFM coupled to vibrational spectroscopy and spectra data analysis is highly advantageous.

(11) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc on pre-clinical micro-MRI at high-/ultra-high fields
Our focus is on the implementation of microimaging methods in high-/ultra-high-field NMR spectrometers, with the ultimate goal to boost sensitivity, spatial and chemical resolution in pre-clinical MRI studies of small-volume soft biological materials or living systems, such as organelles. We are looking for a highly qualified candidate with a strong interest in interdisciplinary research. Core activities include the design of gamifications and serious games in collaboration with researchers and developers, the planning of empirical studies involving technology and people, the collection of data, and envisioning new opportunities for data collection, analyzing data, and publishing results. The candidate will have opportunities to participate in a variety of collaborations; interest and potentially experience in the acquisition of extramural funding are desirable. We are looking for an enthusiastic post-doc researcher on governance of integrating climate change adaptation measures with public health and other regional challenges. Regions are increasingly confronted with implementing various transitions including climate change adaptation, health, agriculture, biodiversity, and energy. However, these transitions are often poorly integrated, resulting in missed opportunities and negative consequences. The focus is on collaborative governance arrangements that do not only enable ownership and support, but also thrive innovation and transformative change. The postdoc will also contribute to an integrations of all insights of the various projects into joint transition pathways for climate adaptation with positive effects on health, landscape, agriculture and biodiversity in three Dutch rural regions.

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: (Junior/PostDoc) Researcher, breeding for biodiversity
We are looking for two enthusiastic researchers to investigate the potential for breeding for more diverse cropping systems. Although you will work closely together, one position will be more practical / field-oriented (junior researcher) while the other position will be more theoretical / design-oriented (junior researcher or postdoc). Together, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing experimental field trials combining a number of both established and emerging crop species to quantify plant-plant interactions at the genotypic level.
