Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Fellow (Surface Chemistry)
Our group has interest in molecular self-assembly at surfaces, metal-organic complexation at surfaces, and the development of single atom catalysts on high surface area supports using a metal-ligand coordination strategy. This position is primarily aimed at examining strategies for stabilizing metal-ligand complexes relevant to catalysis on model surfaces, which will include metal and oxide surfaces. These surface science experiments will be conducted in a multi-chamber ultra-high vacuum system with capability for in situ deposition of metals and ligands, covalent organic framework formation, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning tunneling microscopy, and non-contact atomic force microscopy.
