Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc position in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering
Our research goal is to exploit light for communication and sensing.
For almost a century, radio frequency has monopolized wireless communication, and more recently sensing. But it is time for light to make a comeback. Light was the first means to achieve long range communication (e.g. fire towers and mirrors) and with recent advances in smart materials and optics we want it to be a pervasive means to communicate and sense in future smart cities.
Deadline : 01 December, 2021

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc Systems Theory and Control Strategies for Induced Seismicity
This PostDoc position forms part of the Science4Steer project which aims to understand the effects of time-varying pressures, stresses and strains resulting from natural gas production and (re-) injection in the Dutch subsurface as a basis for operational strategies to minimise the hazard of induced seismicity. The results will also be relevant to the final or temporary subsurface storage of other gasses such as CO2 or H2 and for geothermal energy production.
