PhD position summary/title: PhD Special Call: PhD in Labor Economics

As a PhD student you will be part of the collective research project “Market Power and Inequality in the Labor Market” funded by the Carlsberg Foundation. You will work independently as well as with other researchers developing and estimating structural models of the labor market, analyzing data, presenting research results, and writing scientific papers. Coursework and teaching are also part of the PhD position.

You will be affiliated with the Department of Economics and Business Economics, and you will participate in the meetings of the labor group at the department.

(02) PhD Degree – Fully Funded

PhD position summary/title: PhD Special Call: Financial aid and social mobility

As a PhD student you will be a member of a research group led by Helena Skyt Nielsen. The group also consists of Maria Knoth Humlum, Rune Vejlin, Elena Mattana, Kristoffer Balle Hvidberg and international collaborators and experts. The PhD project includes collection of new data, and therefore, some amount of practical and coordination tasks must be expected.
As a PhD student you will work closely with members of the research group and pursue independent research. As a part of the PhD proposal, we therefore invite you to include a description of a potential independent subproject with a focus on student housing.

(03) PhD Degree – Fully Funded

PhD position summary/title: PhD Special Call: Virtual Characters and Inclusion in the Market

In the project, we will be focusing on some overall areas:

  • The influence of virtual character representation in marketing communication on inclusion in the market.
  • The mechanisms explaining these effects.
  • The application of the findings in the meta-verse.

The PhD project is to be carried out as part of the research project. The PhD student´s role in the overall research areas listed above will depend on the chosen candidate and  the candidates PhD project related to the topic of the overall project.
During the project you will complete a PhD education as described in the rules and regulations for the PhD programme
