(01) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title:  Postdoc Work & Social Psychology

De Vakgroep Work & Social Psychology van de UM heeft een vacature voor een postdoc (na het volbrengen van een promotietraject) ten behoeve van het ZonMW project ‘Re-integratie zonder grenzen”, voor een periode van 2,5 jaar. Deze postdoc krijgt als voornaamste taak om ons te helpen bij de uitvoering en coördinatie van dit project. Daarnaast bestaat de mogelijkheid om ook een (beperkte) bijdrage te leveren aan het onderwijs. Het project “re-integratie zonder grenzen” beoogt te onderzoeken of arbeidsre-integratie via ‘Spoor 2’ verbeterd kan worden middels een Innovatieve aanpak van de begeleiding van werknemers die moeten re-integreren na langdurig verzuim. Dit project wordt uitgevoerd in samenwerking met Zuyderland (Ziekenhuis)zorgorganisatie en enkele andere ziekenhuizen en regionale zorginstellingen. De postdoc zal een aanstelling krijgen bij het Centrum Inclusieve ArbeidsOrganisaties (CIAO) van de Vakgroep Work & Social Psychology van Maastricht University.

De taken voor deze medewerker zijn o.a. ondersteunen bij de coördinatie en uitvoering van het project, analyse en verwerking van de (meest kwalitatieve) gegevens, en rapportage en disseminatie van de bevindingen van het project. En overige taken die bijdragen dat de projecten ook succesvol worden uitgevoerd.

(02) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc summary/title: Postdoctoraal onderzoeker Vakgroep Onderwijsontwikkeling & Onderwijsresearch

De Vakgroep Onderwijsontwikkeling en Onderzoek (O&O) ondersteunt de innovatie en onderzoek van het onderwijs binnen de Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (FHML) van de Universiteit Maastricht. De vakgroep kent diverse taakgroepen. De taakgroepen zijn ingesteld om docenten binnen de verschillende opleidingen van de FHML op onderwijskundig gebied te adviseren en ondersteunen. Ondersteuning en advisering ten behoeve van kwaliteitszorg van onderwijs en het ontwikkelen van een onderwijskwaliteitscultuur is een belangrijk speerpunt van de taakgroepen. Het realiseren van kwalitatief hoogstaand onderwijs in een complexe organisatie vereist een nauwe samenwerking tussen alle betrokkenen, met oog voor soms conflicterende belangen en doelen. We zijn op zoek naar een enthousiaste post-doctoraal onderzoeker voor een onderzoeksproject dat zich richt op het exploreren en begrijpen van complexe interacties tussen verschillende factoren die van invloed zijn op een kwaliteitscultuur waarin het continu optimaliseren van onderwijs centraal staat. Het project levert bij voorkeur inzichten op die vertaald kunnen worden naar onderwijspraktijk en de onderwijsorganisatie. Het onderzoek vindt plaats in afstemming met de School of Health Professions Education (SHE) die nauw verbonden is met de vakgroep O&O.

(03) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Researcher in Social Inequality and Diversity in International Institutions

The Department of Political Science is looking for a motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to carry out research on the theme of Social Inequality and Diversity in International Institutions broadly defined. As part of the position, the candidate will also contribute to three research reports on global health governance in the context of the larger Horizon Europe-funded project ENSURED (https://www.ensuredeurope.eu). ENSURED is a research consortium of 14 academic and civil society partners from Europe, the United States, Brazil, China, India, and South Africa. Within the consortium, the candidate will conduct qualitative interviews at the World Health Organization in Geneva and elsewhere and be part of the ENSURED team at Maastricht University with other researchers working on global governance transformation. Previous experience with global health governance is an asset but not a requirement. We are looking for an expert on international institutions and global governance.

This is a two-year position, and the division of tasks will be 80% research and maximum 20% teaching. As such, you will be offered the opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience by teaching international relations courses across a variety of BA and MA programmes, such as the BA in European Studies and the MA in European Studies. This position will be part of the Politics and Culture in Europe (PCE) research programme.

(04) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc on political economy of fiscal policy and technological change

The Department of Society Studies is looking for a motivated Postdoctoral researcher to collaborate on an exciting research project seeking to understand the effects of fiscal policy and the biases of taxation regimes on automation in Europe. You will be offered to opportunity to take the lead on the quantitative work packages of the project where you will be tasked with the creation and analysis of an original dataset of fiscal policy stances and their effects on automation in Europe.

This is a three-year position, and the division of tasks will be 80% research and 20% teaching. As such, you will be offered to opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience across a variety of BA and MA programmes, such as the BA in European Studies, the BA in Digital Society and the MA in European Studies
