(01) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title:  Research Associate (Limited Term)

The Department of Molecular Genetics in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto invites applications for the position of Research Associate (Limited Term) to participate in research focused on the molecular mechanisms of Cell Division and the available position will follow up on recent discoveries underpinning the regulation of distinct actin networks required for successful cell division in mammalian cells (Nat Comm 2021 12:2409, J. Biol. Chem 2020 295:3134) and expand in to other cellular roles of actin.

(03) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Senior Research Associate

The Dalla Lana School of Public Health (DLSPH) at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time Research Associate position with primary research interests in tuberculosis (TB) research, operational research and randomized controlled trial in Tibet, China. This position will provide research support for a Stop TB Partnership funded TB REACH grant.  The Senior Research Associate will join a strong team of leaders and public health practitioners in tuberculosis research. The project will be based at the DLSPH but in close collaboration with public health agencies in China, the Philippines and Pakistan. 


The objective of the study is to design and implement evidence-based interventions in China, Pakistan and the Philippines based on funded CIHR projects. For more information of the projects, please refer to the Global Implementation Science Lab (https://gisl.dlsph.utoronto.ca). The candidate will engage with the research through project management and scholarly participation and contributions to the project through activities including but not limited to: questionnaire design, data collection and analysis, intervention design and implementation, data management and quality assurance, and writing reports and academic publications.


The candidate will collaborate closely with the main partners in China, including public health agencies and universities, as well as partners in the Philippines and Pakistan. The candidate will participate in every aspect of the implementation science projects, including patient recruitment, implementation, quality control to dissemination. Furthermore, the candidate will assist in the organization of meetings, training sessions, and other materials used in the studies.

(05) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Research Associate (Limited Term)

The Pardee Lab at the University of Toronto is seeking an experienced Research Associate with expertise in molecular biology, synthetic biology, antibody development, and protein biochemistry. The Research Associate will work on multiple research projects simultaneously, contributing to diverse research projects in the lab. The research projects are focused on the development of cell-free biosensors for multi-modal detection (nucleic acid, protein, and metabolite biomarkers), the integration of sensors with substrates and devices, as well as protein engineering. We are a multi-disciplinary research team of scientists and engineers who are passionate about developing technologies that will improve access to health care.
