(03) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Researcher Epidemiology of Occupational Health (1.0 FTE)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking occupational epidemiologist, who can complement and strengthen our team. You will work with the data generated within EPHOR and will apply state-of-the-art methods for aetiological research. You will be involved in the supervision of a PhD candidate in the adaption, development and application of data interpretation methods, specifically for multiple exposure outcome modelling, exposure-time-response modelling, and hierarchical Bayesian analyses. The state-of-the-art methods will be applied to (inter)national databases within the EPHOR pooled occupational cohorts including millions of workers.

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Three Postdoc positions “Beyond Sharia: The Role of Sufism in Shaping Islam” (3 years, 0.8 FTE)
The Role of Sufism in Shaping Islam (chaired by Prof. Asghar Seyed-Gohrab external link) examines the emergence, flourishing and lasting appeal of non-conformist movements in Islamic intellectual history from the tenth century to the present day, investigating how Islamic antinomian movements consolidated Islam in a vast region from the Balkans to Bengal, while offering methods of self-reflection that allowed for critical thinking within Islamic streams of thought. By examining how generations of Islamic mystics and intellectuals in the Persianate world challenged, redefined or rejected Islamic canonical law in their poetic, artistic, philosophical and political writings and teachings, this project generates significant new insights into transgression in Islam.

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral position in single cell analysis of cell differentiation in vivo (1.0 FTE)
As a postdoctoral Researcher you will become part of the highly interactive Developmental Biology community at Utrecht University. This will include daily interactions with fellow Researchers in the Van den Heuvel, Boxem and Ruijtenberg labs, with graduate students and Postdocs, who work on related topics with one of the consortium partners, and with other Researchers within the Institute of Biodynamics and Biocomplexity (e.g., Akhmanova, Kapitein, Baubec labs) or the broader Utrecht University campus.
