Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc Research Associate
The Department of Physics and Astronomy in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Iowa State University is seeking applicants for a Postdoctoral Research Associate. The postdoctoral researcher will work closely with Prof. Jake Simon and join a dynamic group of researchers studying how planets and planetary systems are born. More specifically, the researcher will work on numerical and/or theoretical studies in the general area of planet formation and will also have the opportunity to collaborate directly with observers to test specific aspects of planet formation theory. There may also be opportunities to co-advise graduate and/or undergraduate students.

(02) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc summary/title: Postdoctoral Research Associate
Contribute to the SCID pig project through conducting research to develop the SCID pig as a biomedical model. Experiments will include flow cytometry and other methods to test results of procedures to maximize human cell implantation and development in the SCID pig. Analyze human cell tumors growing in the SCID pig for mutations and gene expression using next generation sequencing techniques and subsequent bioinformatic analysis. Test the effect of adding microbiota or other variables into the SCID pig environment. Coordinate with other members of the SCID pig project team to maximize resources and data generation from limited numbers of SCID pigs.

The Clark lab at Iowa State University is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher who is broadly interested in plant systematics, morphology (including anatomy) and macroevolutionary questions using the grass family as a model system. Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc Research Associate
We are looking for highly motivated individual to contribute in our research by setting up photoacoustic imaging system prototypes. These include both photoacoustic tomography as well as photoacoustic microscopy systems. Experience in experimental research labs is essential. Experimental research done in the area of optics, ultrasound, medical imaging systems, photoacoustic are preferred. Good programming skill in Matlab, Labview is needed. C, Python programming skill will be added advantage. Good communication skill with both oral and written English proficiency is essential. Conduct bioimaging experiments, including small animal imaging will be required. Conduct research, manage lab day to day running and publish research outcomes in appropriate journals of international standing are expected.

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Fellowship- Student Counseling Services
This position affords the post-doc the opportunity to work in a dynamic university counseling center that serves a diverse undergraduate and graduate student body. Under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, the post-doc will provide individual, and group therapy from a short-term therapy model, conduct intake evaluations, crisis assessment and intervention, and provide outreach programs and consultation to the campus community. There are also opportunities for supervision of trainees from a doctoral program in counseling psychology and to pursue concentration areas (for a semester or for the year). Potential concentration areas include the following: Diversity, Eating Disorders, Training & Supervision, Grief & Loss, Group Therapy, Sport Psychology, and Trauma Recovery.
