Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: International Health and Sustainable Development (IHSD)
The Postdoctoral Fellow will serve as Research and Learning Manager (RLM) to lead research and learning activities for the Sahel Collaboration and Communications (SCC) activity. SCC presents a unique opportunity for measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of collaboration for achieving sustainable improvements in food security resilience in Burkina Faso and Niger. It is a backbone project that attempts to catalyze USAID’s investment resources across its portfolio of projects and activities. The incumbent will lead and supervise research and learning work, including an Innovative Grants Program (IGP), and staff and consultants working for Tulane University in Niger and Burkina Faso.

The position will focus on hydroclimatic variability under climate change. (03) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Fellow, River Coastal Science and Engineering – Ecohydrological Modeling of Saline Environments
The position will be centered on modeling climate-plant-water interactions in salt-affected ecosystems, with a specific focus on coastal wetlands and their vulnerability to sea-level rise and salinization. The work will require developing simplified models of the plant hydraulics under osmotic stress and designing their upscaling to larger (plot up to ecosystem) scales for hydrologic and climate modeling applications. Prior experience with the parametrization of plant hydraulic traits and stochastic modeling, and familiarity with eddy covariance methods and data are strongly preferred.

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Fellow
The Postdoctoral Fellow for the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology will be responsible for studying the biochemical and molecular mechanisms underlying the regulations of the p53-MDM2 loop, mutant p53s, and the c-Myc pathway in response to various signals and to identify small molecules that can suppress tumor growth by re-activating p53 activity in human cancer cells and mouse tumor model systems including genetically manipulated mouse models, such as p53-null, MDM2-C305/MDM4-3SA double knockin, CCDC3-null, TA-p63-null, PHLDB3-null, and p53-R249S knockin mouse models.

Three postdoc positions are available to work in a highly interactive and energetic lab investigating non-canonical transcriptome regulatory mechanisms driving virus replication, oncogenesis and inflammatory responses in the human oncogenic virus, Epstein Barr virus. Approaches include a wide array of RNA and DNA sequencing methods (e.g. RNA-seq, CAGE-seq, GROSeq, eCLIP, Cut-n-run, HiC, single molecule sequencing, single cell sequencing), molecular biology assays, cell and animal manipulation, and the use of extensive publicly available, in-house developed, and new high throughput data analysis methods.

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Structural & Cellular Biology
The laboratory of Dr. Yan Dong at Tulane University School of Medicine, YDongTulane, is seeking two postdoctoral fellows who are highly motivated and devoted to research. Research in the laboratory focuses on molecular mechanisms of prostate cancer progression and therapeutic resistance. In particular, we have been investigating the mechanisms by which androgen receptor splice variants mediate resistance of prostate cancer to androgen deprivation therapy. We are also characterizing other proteins and non-coding RNAs that are critically involved in prostate cancer progression.
