1. PhD Degree directly related to the field of instruction specified (SOCIOLOGY).
2. Applicant should be a graduate of accredited universities, which use credit hours system.
3. Teaching experience in higher education institutes.
4. Excellent English language command as it is the medium of teaching.
5. At least (3) years of experience in teaching in an academic institution applying the credit hour system.
6. The applicant should have published papers in journals within the global databases (Scopus).
7. The applicant is required to give evidence of his/her practical and academic experiences in the area of specialization.

Ajman University is seeking a post-doctoral research associate to serve in full time capacity in its newly established Healthy Buildings Research Center hosted by College of Architecture, Art and Design.  A Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics with focus on indoor air quality is preferred. A track record of peer reviewed journal publications is required. The successful candidate will conduct research and consultation and participate in scholarly publications related to the scope of the center.   In addition, the candidate shall participate in managing the center and provide community training related to healthy livings and indoor air quality.
