Postdoc summary/title: Postdoc in Microstructural Design of Metallic Materials through Heterogeneous Accumulative Roll-Bonding
This postdoc project is part of a Villum Experiment grant, which aims to design a new generation of metals for efficient recycling by combining a homogeneous chemical composition with a heterogeneous microstructure. Your overall focus is to explore, analyse and quantify microstructural variations on appropriate length scales in commercial purity aluminium and titanium produced by heterogeneous accumulative roll-bonding (and heat treatment), and relate these variations to understand the microstructural evolution and mechanical properties during subsequent deformation. You will work with nearby colleagues, and with both academic and industrial partners in Denmark as well as abroad. Your primary tasks will be to:

In practice, the project focuses on any aspect of the pipeline, ranging from Bayesian deep learning, deep generative models, random Riemannian geometry, numerical computations on manifolds, or other related topics. (09) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in Technician Routing and Dispatching
We are looking for an ambitious candidate for a PostDoc project (17 months, full-time) to focus on development of a technician routing and dispatching algorithm that can handle a much longer time horizon than currently manageable. The task is a question of matching the technician with the right skill set to solve the problem within a given timeframe, while minimizing driving distance. Planning with a long time horizon generally leads to more efficient schedules, and a higher service level for the customers. However, in order to handle the big data in real-time, it is necessary to develop fast and robust algorithms. The algorithm should also provide feedback to the prediction part and remote resolution part. Focus will be on fast prototyping approaches, and efficient solution methods. The PostDoc will be hosted at DTU Management.
