(03) Postdoctoral Position
Postdoctoral position summary/title: Postdoc in Atomistic Modeling of Organic Battery Materials.
The successful applicant will develop and apply a range of computational methods to simulate properties of a diverse set of organic battery materials. The research will be strongly linked to several externally funded battery projects carried out in the Section. The methodological toolbox will include classical molecular dynamics, density functional theory, and hybrid QM/MM approaches.
A qualified applicant will have expertise in one or more of the following topics:
- Classical molecular dynamics simulations of organic materials or macromolecules
- Development of polarizable force fields
- Development or advanced applications of condensed-phase electronic structure methods (e.g. molecular dynamics, QM/MM, solvation models)

(04) Postdoctoral Position
Postdoctoral position summary/title: Postdoctoral fellow in x-ray tomography and digital volume correlation.
The aim of this project is to understand the basic mechanisms of fatigue in heterogeneous materials to enable a physics-based approach for modelling and characterization. We will achieve this aim seamlessly integrating in situ x-ray micro tomography, novel digital volume correlation techniques, and innovative finite element and multiscale modelling approaches to assess the evolving 3D displacement and strain fields at various length scales. The project will thereby have a significant impact on the field predicting the emergent behavior of heterogeneous materials, without resorting to phenomenology, but rather directly unravel the micro-mechanical origin of macroscopic behavior.

(06) Postdoctoral Position
Postdoctoral position summary/title: Postdoc in the area of Security for Safety-Critical Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS).
The postdoc position is framed in the context of the H2020 ECSEL project “TRANSACT: Transform Safety-Critical Cyber-Physical Systems into Distributed Solutions for End-Users and Partners”. You are expected to investigate requirements and necessary concepts for preserving security and privacy in edge/cloud computing environments and when deploying running distributed applications for safety–critical CPS. Consideration will be given to adopting a secure-by-design principle that will also support the inherent dynamic and heterogeneous nature of safety-critical distributed CPS. This includes the considerations of inter-relation with safety and performance, with the challenges of management and upgrading of devices connected to edge and cloud infrastructure. It also requires you to investigate both the human and machine side of cybersecurity, aiming for an orchestrated concept that enforces security throughout all the device-edge-cloud continuum.

(07) Postdoctoral Position
Postdoctoral position summary/title: Postdoc position in computational population genetics.
In this position you will develop algorithms and computational methods to deal with the analysis of large datasets from modern and ancient sources. More specifically, these algorithms will be aimed at analyzing a large number of ancient genomes using population genetics methods. The bioinformatics section of DTU Health Tech performs research in the areas of different metagenomics, machine learning, cancer genomics and population genomics. Additional information should be obtained by contacting the potential main supervisor directly. Postdoctoral position summary/title: Postdoc in Oligosaccharide Synthesis and Glycoimmuno-oncology.
A two-year postdoctoral position is available in organic chemistry and oligosaccharide synthesis at the Department of Chemistry, Technical University of Denmark. Postdoctoral position summary/title: Postdoc in Modelling of Power-2-X, Energy Storage, and Future Fuels Systems.
It is clear to all that we need to gradually transition away from use of fossil fuels. In this we face a number of hard to abate sectors, for instance transportation. Cars and small vehicles can be run on batteries and fuel cells, but larger vessels like aircrafts and ships for long distance transport will need higher energy density carriers, such as liquid fuels. Various fuels can be synthesized by electrolysis and down-stream catalytic upgrading processes, but the question of, what are the best sustainable alternatives to the fossil fuels, remains unanswered.

Postdoctoral position summary/title: Postdoc in Oral Protein Delivery using Microdevices.
We wish to employ a postdoc within the framework of our highly interdisciplinary Center of Excellence – IDUN. The successful candidate will play a leading role in the oral drug delivery activities in the Center, interacting with several team members working in different disciplines, such as optics, biochemistry, biology, microfluidics, pharmacology, and polymer science.
The position is on the design, preparation, characterization, and testing of oral microdevice-based delivery systems for peptides and proteins like, e.g., insulin. Previously, we have worked with the concept of microcontainer devices. Here, new designs and new delivery principles will be explored.

Postdoctoral position summary/title: Postdoc in Model Based Control.
In this project, we develop model based control algorithms for cyber-physical systems with applications in medicine and technology. In particular, we will have a focus on applications related to diabetes and metabolism in man. We develop numerical algorithms tailored for real-time control systems for embedded applications that can be used in medical devices and other engineering systems. The ambition is to establish a new platform for agile implementation of model based control and cyber-physical systems. You will have an important role in development and implementation of computationally efficient algorithms from scientific computing as well as systems and control for optimization and model based control systems as well as participation in the overall cyber-physical system. The ambition is to develop a new standard of computational methods for systems and control (in particular model predictive control) that is demonstrated in cyber-medical and cyber-physical systems.

Postdoctoral position summary/title: Postdoc in 3D printing of continuous fiber composites.
The postdoc project aims at advancing the state of the art in the area of 3D printing of high-performance fiber-reinforced polymer composite structures. The main objective of the project is to develop a large-scale fiber composite 3D printer for manufacturing high-performance sub-components of wind turbine blades. The mechanical performance of the 3D printed subcomponents will be evaluated and accordingly the printing parameters will be improved.

(21) Postdoctoral Position
Postdoctoral position summary/title: Postdoc in Electrocatalytic CO2 Reduction.
This project will look to improve the selectivity and activity of CO2 electrolysis catalysts with the focus being on highly reduced products (i.e. greater than 2 electron transfer reductions). In particular, we will look to shift selectivity towards acetaldehyde and ethanol and away from ethylene and acetate. This position will primarily be applied in nature, thus significant focus will be on gas diffusion electrode (GDE) type reactors and the integration of catalysts, gas diffusion layers, ionomers and membranes. The highly technical side of operating such a complex device as a GDE reactor often hides the scientific principles driving the reaction.
