National Institute of Technology Sikkim (NIT Sikkim or NIT SKM) is a public engineering and research institution near the city of Ravangla in Sikkim, India. It is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India and has been declared as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. It is an autonomous institute and functioning under the aegis of Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantrayala), Government of India.
Faculty Recruitment Eligibility/Qualification
First class or equivalent in B. Tech. and M. Tech. (preference will be given to Ph.D. or Ph.D. submitted candidates). Institute reserves the right to fix additional or higher criteria for short-listing
Duration
Empanelment as temporary faculty will be initially for a period of one semester or eleven (11) months.

Faculty Recruitment Selection Process:
All the shortlisted candidates are required to appear for the presentation and interview. The candidates shortlisted for the interview are required to bring their original certificate and other necessary documents at the time of interview.
The interview date and venue will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates through email. All communication shall be made through Institute website and email.
