Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title:  IRCN Postdoctoral Fellow (Full-time Fixed-term Project Researcher) / One

The successful applicant is expected to engage in human cognitive neuroscience research and computational psychiatry studies in experimental/numerical manners and write scientific papers. For experiments, they can employ typical/atypical individuals using MRI, TMS, EEG, TUS and motion capture.

Postdoc summary/title: Research Associate

The Institute for Solid State Physics invites applications from highly-motivated researchers who will collaborate with Associate Prof. Takagi and develop novel electronic properties based on strong electron correlation and topology in inorganic and organic crystals. Candidates should have experience in either materials synthesis, electrical transport measurement, nuclear magnetic resonance measurement, or microfabrication. Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: One Research Associate position. 

The “Tokunaga Group” has been developing experimental techniques for research in pulsed-high magnetic fields and studying various materials using them. This position is open to researchers willing to contribute to the activities in the Tokunaga Group, develop new science in high magnetic fields in collaboration with other laboratories at ISSP, and support joint research projects actively. We do not require candidates to have research experience with high magnetic fields, but candidates with basic experimental skills in low-temperature experiments or sample preparation are preferred.

As part of the research project KAKENHI “Macro Coastal Oceanography”, simulations of freshwater, sediment and nutrients are to be performed using a global river model. Sediment and nutrients runoff from land to the ocean is to be estimated for all over Japan. ※Project period(until March 2027)
– Integrate sediment and nutrient transport schemes into the source code of CaMa-Flood global river model.
– Execute large-domain river hydrodynamics simulation using sediment and nutrient yields data as input, and estimate the sediment and nutrient flux from land to oceans on nationwide or global scales.

(09) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: One Research Associate position. 

The successful candidate will work with Associate Prof. Hashisaka to promote experimental research on quantum and many-body phenomena in nanoscale devices and their applications and will be involved in education and supervision for graduate students as well as in collaborative research activities. Experience in either cryogenic experimental techniques, nanofabrication techniques, or high-speed or precise electrical measurement techniques is desirable.
