We invite applications for several postdoctoral research positions in experimental quantum computing with superconducting circuits. You will work in the stimulating research environment of the Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology (WACQT, http://wacqt.se). The core project of the centre is to build a quantum computer based on superconducting circuits. You will be part of the Quantum Computing Group within the Quantum Technology Laboratory (QTL) at the Microtechnology and Nanoscience (MC2) department, working in a large team of PhDs, postdocs and researchers.

We are looking for a postdoc fascinated by modelling the challenging response of sensitive clays. You will become the key contributor for generating data based on physics-based models for low probability events, such as shallow landslides in sensitive clays. The ambition is to create training data for subsequent data-driven modelling. We offer access to unique experimental data and computational tools developed by our research team for addressing this ambition.

The aim is to improve the long-term predictions of degradation of railway infrastructure by merging time-domain Finite Element Analyses for the structure and subgrade with a vehicle model. The focus will be on incorporating accumulation models for ballast and subgrade that incorporate (cyclic) degradation. The models will be benchmarked against field data at system-level. When successful a unique physics driven tool will become available for stakeholders to create more sustainable railway infrastructure for the future.

We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join our team at Chalmers University of Technology. Your project will be part of the activities on Structural battery composites at Chalmers. Chalmers has pioneered this research for more than one decade. This postdoc project aims to address a critical challenge in quantum computing: errors in superconducting qubits caused by cosmic radiation, which cannot be corrected using existing methods. To tackle this issue, we need to understand the underlying problem and develop strategies to mitigate these errors.

We are seeking two postdocs to collaborate on developing a near-quantum-limited microwave amplifier for readout in superconducting quantum computers. One position will focus on nanofabrication of TWPAs, while the other will specialize in their characterization.

We are looking for a post-doc eager to explore the possibilities in the latest atom probe tomography (APT) technology, and to apply this to atomic-scale materials research. The post-doc will work in a small research group, which has a long-standing tradition in atom probe research and a well-equipped lab for materials characterization.
