A background in palaeoecological research is expected and candidates should be experienced in working with one or several biotic proxies that can be analyzed in late Quaternary environmental archives such as lake sediment records. Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in species-environment relationships and palaeoenvironmental reconstruction based on biotic proxy indicators. English language skills (written and oral) are required and a driving permit is considered an advantage for this application.
