Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdocs in secure networked control systems
The Division of Decision and Control Systems is currently looking for up to 2 postdocs with a very strong background and interest in networked control systems, mathematics, and modeling. The successful candidates will join a project on developing novel mathematical and computational tools for the fundamental understanding and engineering design of emerging networked control systems, and with a particular focus on resilient and secure cyber-physical systems. The work is supervised by Professors Henrik Sandberg and Karl Henrik Johansson.

(03) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in Deep learning for protein-protein interactions
We recruit two postdocs on “Deep learning for protein-protein interactions” for two years financed by a joint grant from WASP and DDLS. One will be hired in Azizpour’s group at KTH within this call and the other at Elofsson’s group at Stockholm University call. We foresee both postdocs working closely together and with both groups.

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in Interpretable Machine Learning
This postdoc position will involve the development of machine learning methods that account for these diverse requirements. The work will focus mostly on dynamical systems, and consider, for example, the design of computer-intensive algorithms for optimal estimation of models for such systems, subject to the aforementioned constraints, and the determination of internal models used by agents or controllers acting on a dynamical system, in order to exploit them for learning optimal, interpretable agents.

(05) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in multi-agent systems analysis of the human cell immune network
We invite applications for a Postdoc position in the field of data-driven analysis and control of heterogeneous multi-agent systems. The successful candidate will join a research group that is focusing on new control methodologies for multi-robot systems. The position is associated with the following topic:
-Modelling, analysis and design of the human cell immune system as a multi-agent leader-follower network: model and analyze the human cell immune system as a multi-agent system’s network through novel network identification tools based on data gathered from a partnership with the Brodin lab at Karolinska Institute. Develop pinning control and leader selection methods for optimal selection of cells to be stimulated in order to achieve optimal therapeutic response in treatment procedures.

(06) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoktor inom Kvantteknologi – särskild sammanflätning i kvantkretsar
Forskningen omfattar tillverkning av kvantelektroniska kretsar med avancerad nanoteknologi, samt mätning vid ultra-låg temperatur med den senaste digitala höghastighetselektroniken. Vi vill skapa ett så kallat kluster-tillstånd i mikrovågsfrekvensband genom synkront multifrekvenspumpning av en ickelinjär supraledande krets. Ett sådant tillstånd kan teoretisk användas för kvantberäkningar i en så-kallad en-vägs kvantdator. Målet är att bevisa detta med experiment. Du kommer huvudsakligen arbeta vid KTH i Prof. David Haviland’s grupp och forskningsprojektet är ett samarbete med Aalto Universitet i Helsingfors, Finland. En del av tiden kommer att spenderas där i Prof. Pertti Hakonen’s grupp.

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in multi-antenna communications and sensing beyond 5G
In this project, you will develop theory and algorithms for communications and sensing that have the potential to revolutionize multi-antenna systems. Three examples are user-centric “cell-free” distributed antenna systems, holographic MIMO, and reconfigurable intelligent surfaces. The research will be theory-driven and focus on establishing the fundamental performance limits of one or more of these new concepts, as well as developing effective signal processing algorithms and protocols to approach these limits in practical contexts.

(10) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Researcher in Biomicrofluidics for 3D cell model prototyping
The project centers on research with commercial application potential and is carried out in collaboration with an international pharmaceutical industry partner and academic partner in precision medicine. The aim of the project is to produce and characterize human 3D micro-tissue models at the scale needed for early drug development using a new droplet microfluidic platform. Additional aims include the development of handling and distribution formats to utilize the 3D micro-tissue models on a commercial scale. 3D micro-tissue models mimic the drug response from real tissue better than individual cells or 2D tissue models, but have not yet been produced at the scale needed for high-throughput screening.

The Division of Heat and Power Technology at the Department of Energy Technology is seeking a postdoc to work in a newly started research project related to the aerodynamics of compressor ducts in aircraft engines. The project is carried out in collaboration with GKN Aerospace AB and the aim of the research is to provide answers on how we could design shorter and more aerodynamically efficient compressor ducts. Postdoc’s tasks will include investigations of different active and passive flow control devices as means of pushing the design space limits for intermediate compressor ducts. Advancements in flow control technology, as well as improved flow field prediction capability, can enable more aggressive designs of compressor ducts to be integrated into future aircraft engines resulting in lower weight and reduced fuel consumption.
