(01) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in the Fundamental Science of Thin Films
We are now looking to appoint a postdoc in the division of Thin Film Physics, Fundamental Science of Thin Films group, for research on two-dimensional Metallenes, which are recently discovered at Linköping.
This recruitment is linked to the Wallenberg Initiative Materials Science for Sustainability (WISE, wisematerials.org). WISE, funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, is the largest investment in materials science in Sweden ever and will include major investments at Sweden’s leading universities over the course of 10 years. The vision is a sustainable future through materials science.

Postdoc summary/title: Postdoc in Child Studies
This research position is a two-year postdoc. The applicant is expected to submit a brief two-year research plan focusing on contemporary or historical perspectives. It is possible to write the application in connection to existing research projects at Child Studies or to develop research on already available materials from projects. The position can involve both qualitative and quantitative research. The research work will be conducted in close collaboration with other researchers at Child Studies. The applicant is expected to have compelling collaborative skills and contribute creatively and constructively to the interdisciplinary international research environment at Child Studies.
The position includes collegial participation in Child Studies’ seminar activities, meetings, to take initiative to invite guests and write research applications. At Child Studies we strongly emphasise office attendance for the purpose of the collective scientific community.

You will start a new project aimed at investigating protein/lipid regulation in the neonatal brain. You will participate in ongoing research projects and and collaborate with other lab members. (05) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in oncology
As a postdoc in oncology, you will work in a project concerning mechanisms involved in the increased risk of breast cancer in mammographically dense breasts. Primarily with a focus on platelet activation. The research group focuses on the mechanisms involved in the initiation and progression of breast cancer. We work translationally with a focus on the microenvironment in both normal breast tissue and breast cancer. Many experimental models are applied in the project, where the base consists of breast tissue samples from patients and healthy volunteers.

(06) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc in ion channel physiology
You will work in a project aimed at unravelling endogenous regulation of ion channel activity and electrical excitability, and how this is modulated in disease and using pharmacological strategies. You will participate in analysis of clinical material and experimental follow-up studies on the effect of compounds on voltage-gated ion channels and cellular excitability, with the aim of providing insights into physiological, pathological and pharmacological effects. For clinical material, you will, for instance, perform analysis of biochemical data (proteomics, lipid oxidation, and network analysis). Experimentally, you will primarily use molecular biology approaches and electrophysiology in cellular systems (for instance in Xenopus laevis oocytes and mammalian cells), but also complementary approaches like gel electrophoresis, western blot and OxyBlot. You will study both healthy ion channels and ion channels carrying disease-associated mutations.

We are now looking to appoint up to two enthusiastic postdocs to join our interdisciplinary research group in the field of AI and education.
The primary focus of the postdoc position is research related to AI and education. This includes the impact of AI on education, how to use AI for education, and developing education for AI.
There will be good opportunities to influence the direction of the research. We are always open for suggestions of new important and interesting research directions.
As postdoc, you will principally carry out research. A certain amount of teaching may be part of your duties, up to a maximum of 20% of working hours.
